H010 secures Innovate UK Smart Grant to develop a world-first digitally verifiable hologram

H010, the UK based authentication, anti-counterfeiting and brand protection business, has today announced it has been awarded a substantial Smart Grant from Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency. The grant will enable H010 to further deploy it’s unique technology combining the visual intuitiveness and digital nature of QR codes layered within the hyper-secure optical properties of analogue holography.

“We know that counterfeiting costs businesses billions per year and undermines consumer confidence in every aspect, from brand equity to safety” said Charlie Gale, CEO of H010. “Most solutions on the market today are either expensive, require end-user eduction, or simply lack the security they’re designed for. We hope with Innovate UK’s support we can further deploy our completely secure and cost-effective solution whilst piggybacking on technology consumers are already well-accustomed to using”.
